MEET MISS MILLER
I am originally from southern Colorado and am a country girl at heart. I grew up playing and working on the family farm where I developed my passion for the outdoors. I also played a variety of sports and activities and have since grown to love anything to do with physical fitness. Even with a busy schedule now, I find time to hike, longboard, and golf. I still actively participate in team sports such as basketball, softball, and volleyball. As a PE teacher I believe I need to be an advocate and practice what I preach. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Coaching from Brigham Young University. I have some experience teaching PE both at the secondary and elementary levels. This will be my fourth year teaching at Hunter and Roosevelt and I couldn't be more excited!
Although I am a die hard sports fan, I do enjoy other activities. I minored in History in college and absolutely love it! I love watching movies, hanging out with friends and family, and reading as well. I do try and be as healthy as I can but my guilty pleasure is eating cookies and ice cream!
Like I said, I love to hike and I made sure to go on several this past summer. We live in such a beautiful area with lots of opportunities to hike. Here are some pictures of my adventures:
